I was supposed to post something awhile ago. I kinda got sidetracked, big time I might add, and it’s been a long time. Figure since I’m on vacation, I might as well use this time to jump back on board and THIS TIME actually do this thing the right way. So here… we…. go!
“So what’s going on?” you might ask. Well, not too much. I’m enjoying life and the various, and I mean VARIOUS challenges it brings. No, I’m not going into all that. For one, some stuff is personal and I don’t spread my affairs over the Interwebs. Two, this is suppose to be my outlet for all the stuff I want to rap about. Not that everything is bad; much of it is very good and makes me a better man. But this ain’t no “Debbie Downer” blog. If the monsta would just use the potty more, I’d be a REALLY happy man. J
Of course I’m still up on my videogames and such. In the very near future, I’ll talk about some of the things going on in the industry, but currently I’m playing thru a healthy rotation of games. Right now I’m very into playing games on Xbox Live. From Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare 2 I’m enjoying the heck out the service. Of course May 3rd is the Halo Reach Beta. Yeah… Let’s just say reading all there is about this game… yeah. Just… yeah.
There are still great SP games too, Dragon Age: Origins, Bayonetta, Mass Effect 2, Final Fantasy XIII… All great and offer something for various gamers. I’m really drawn into great gameplay and amazing worlds. These games offer that and more. Again, as time goes on I’ll talk more about each one and the other upcoming games (and the older games for that matter) that are moving me.
Last thing on games, thanks to the “issues” that Modern Warfare 2 had since launch, I am no longer buying ANY MP shooter that doesn’t go thru a Beta Test of some type. Now I’ve been putting my MW2 skills to the test, gearing up for the new maps dropping tomorrow. I haven’t witnessed any foolishness since Bad Company 2 took over my Live time, but the damage has been done. So far Halo Reach and Ghost Recon Future Solider have announced open Betas. I’m hoping that the next Call of Duty and Medal of Honor games do the same.
Tomorrow the Method Man/Ghostface/Raekwon album comes out tomorrow. I’m a HUGE Wu-Tang Clan fan. And while the group hasn’t put out a ton of amazing work as late, Ghostface Killah has continued to drop gem after gem (even if I wasn’t feeling that R&B flavored album, just didn’t move me, but still better than 80% of the stuff out now). Both Meth and Rae have come back with a vengeance over the last couple of years. The Mathematics Mixtape (Mathematics Presents Wu-Tang Returns), Rae’s OB4CLII, Meth and Red’s Blackout, and even 8 Diagrams were crazy nice. So needless to say, I can’t wait for tomorrow. This is a project that should have happened years, no a decade ago.
And not only are we blessed with a new Wu album, but we will blessed with another Erykah Badu album tomorrow as well. I don’t think the world can contain such kickass. Badu always give us great work and I’m sure this will be no different. I’ve managed to stay waya from any leaks from both albums, even though many people have told me I should have gave a listen to them. So let’s recap: We have new content for Modern Warfare 2, Bad Company 2 (free mind you), a Wu-Massacre, AND Badu tomorrow. Happy March 30th indeed! I’m sure I’missing something, but if I am, I don’t even want to know. The world can’t take anymore….
I can’t think of anything else and I think I’ve once again typed a ton of stuff, too much if you ask me. So I’ll leave anything else for tomorrow. But yeah, things are cool. And I have a HDTV! Finally…. I’m enjoying it all right now.
